The Allen Suite
The Allen Suite is in the original part of the house on the main floor. The suite is named for the Allen family, who built this house and farmed here for over 100 years.
This is a spacious suite that is easy to relax in.
It features a king-size bed that if you choose, can be made up as twins. (A $25 fee per stay applies.)
In common with all of the beds in the B&B, the memory foam on the mattress makes for a really comfortable night's sleep.
The sitting room area of the suite has a cozy gas fired "wood stove" and a double bed sized convertible sofa suitable for one other person. This space also
makes for a comfortable hide-a-way to read a book or watch your favorite TV program or DVD - the flat-panel LCD TV swings around so that you can watch it from either the bed or the sitting room.
There is a set of curtains that can drawn to provide some privacy between the two parts of the suite. The private ensuite bathroom has a wide single person size Jacuzzi tub with a shower over it. It also features a vintage vanity with original brass faucets.
The Allen Suite is $185 per night Sunday through Thursday, $200 per night on Friday and Saturday, and $15 per night more during Fall Foliage season and Holidays. Add $30 per night for a third person.
A two night minimum stay is required for on-line booking and is preferred on weekends and high seasons. A three night minimum stay is preferred for holiday weekends.
