  • Rates are per room, per night, double occupancy. Add 9% VT tax and 4% Community Sponsorship Fund fee. 
  • High seasons are Christmas-New Years, President's Week, Fall Foliage season and holiday weekends when we add $15 per night per room, except for the Bluebonnet Room, which adds only $10 per night.
  • Extra person in room adds $30 per night per person. (Available for Paris Suite, Stetson Suite and Allen Suite only.)
  • Twin bed configuration, available by advance request in the Allen Suite and Mountain Room, adds $25 per room per stay.
  • A two night minimum stay is preferred on weekends, high seasons, and for the Paris Suite at all times. A three night minimum stay is preferred for holiday weekends.
  • Acceptance of shorter bookings is subject to availability and management discretion, and if accepted a $25 per night surcharge will be added.
  • From time to time we offer specials, discounts and packages.  In general you can take advantage of only ONE of these in any one booking, and special pricing is not available in conjunction with commissionable bookings or gift certificates.
  • Check-in time is 3 PM or later. You can drop off luggage etc. earlier  than 3 PM if you wish - just let us know ahead of time.  If you will be arriving later than 8 PM please call ahead to let us know. Check-out time is 11 AM. During your stay at the Inn you are welcome to come and go as you please at any time.
  • We are State licensed for the sale of wine and beer. State law requires that all alcoholic drinks consumed on the premises MUST be purchased from us so please do NOT bring any alcohol with you to the Inn. Note that our excellent wine list is very reasonably priced!
  • As we are primarily an Inn to come to for quiet relaxation, we welcome children age 12 or older only.
  • West Hill House is a non-smoking facility. We can direct you to outdoor locations where you may smoke. If you smoke in your room there will be a $250 cleaning charge to restore the room to pristine condition for our next guests.
  • We have resident cats Smoky & Snowball who request that you leave your pets at home.  Please advise us if you are allergic to cats.

Payment and Cancellations:

  • A deposit of $140 per room booked is automatically charged to your credit card when your reservation is finalized. Your deposit may be paid by check by special arrangement.
  • If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call or email us at least 21 days prior to your arrival date (60 days if the entire Inn is booked for the same event) for a cheerful refund of your deposit less a $20 service charge per room booked.
  • For less than 21 days (60 days if the entire Inn is booked for the same event), not including the day of arrival, when you cancel we will be pleased to use your deposit to confirm another stay for you (of at least the same duration) within 60 days of your planned arrival date. If that is not possible for you we do need to retain your deposit, but we will offer you a discount of $70 when you book a future stay at West Hill House with an arrival date within one calendar year of the cancellation date.
  • A cancellation the day of arrival, a no-show or early departure will be charged the full cost of the reserved rooms.
  • Sugarbush ski or golf vouchers cannot be canceled later than 9:00 AM on the first day of the activity.
  • As we need to buy ingredients and make preparations ahead of time, any specially ordered food or catered meals booked and canceled less than 3 days ahead will be charged at the full rate.
  • Final payment will be due on check out and may be made in cash, by personal or travelers check, MC, Visa, Discover or AmEx.
