New for the 2009-10 ski season.  Stay at West Hill House during the week for 2 or more nights and enjoy a Mad River Glen weekday ski pass for $30 per day. If Mad River Glen is closed for any reason we will give you $20 per day per room towards lift tickets at Sugarbush. (This offer is not available during holidays.)

Or ask us about the great ski-the-valley pass for 2 or more weekdays, or 3 or more days including a Saturday or Sunday, of skiing at Mad River Glen, Sugarbush and Olé's cross country ski resort.

No meals to cook, no dishes to wash, no beds to make to, no housework to do!!  Our Girlfriends’ Getaway means you do the relaxing and we do the work.

Come browse our artisans’ shops, be pampered with an “in house” massage, check out the local sites, catch up on your current craft project,  or relax in a comfortable chair with your latest book and in the evenings enjoy meals out at any number of great local restaurants. Our rooms are well appointed and very comfortable.  Whether you come in the winter and take part in the local outdoor activities or enjoy looking at winter from our three large common areas, or you are here in the summer, hiking, kayaking, biking or relaxing in our gorgeous perennial flower garden, you are sure to have a wonderful time.

While you are you may want to check out the Walk About, a fresh air spa experience where 5 local businesses have teamed together to offer a "new spa" alternative. A brief travel on foot from shop to shop in Historic Waitsfield, allows you time to enjoy a 75 minute massage, 75 minute customized facial, lunch at either Mint Vegetarian Restaurant or the Green Cup Café, and a manicure, pedicure and shampoo/style.  Enjoy it all in one day or spread them out and even share with a friend. Everything is included for only $265 per person. We'll be happy to book this for you.

For your room we'll discount the tax and Community Sponsorship Fund fee for you if you book 3 or more rooms for stays of 2 or more nights or vice versa. Please book by phone - we're waiting for your call!

Book this now for only $85 in addition to the cost of the room of your choice.

At West Hill House, we have made something of a specialty of planned elopements. For $250 plus tax, and the cost of your room (two night minimum), we will help you plan an extra special day day where the only people at your wedding are just the two of you. There are numerous locations for the ceremony  be it in winter in front of our big stone fireplace with its winter decorations, or in the gazebo (summer or winter) or in a special location in our beautiful perennial gardens.

We will arrange for a JP to get in touch with you to work with you to personalize your ceremony. We will bake a mini wedding cake to be served with a bottle of champagne or sparkling cider following the ceremony. To commemorate your day we will take digital photos of the event and present you with a CD of your photographs before you leave. Flowers, either a small corsage and boutonniere, or a small table arrangement that you can take with you, are included in the package. To cap off your special day we will arrange a wedding night restaurant reservation for you (dinner is not included). You can book your elopement online! (Note that we will require a $100 non-refundable deposit for your elopement booking. The balance will be payable with your room on check out.)
