Concierge Services

At West Hill House we offer the finest comfort, hospitality and food, and we offer a personal concierge service for all our guests to help you get the very best from your visit to the area. Massages and Day Spa services are easily arranged. Just let us know what and when - we'll make the reservations. We can arrange Inndulgencies such as flowers in the room for your special someone, French Champagne on ice awaiting your arrival, order event or theater tickets, line up equipment rental, outline a day trip to satisfy your interests, or make a dinner reservation for you. We're here to help. Just call or email us to discuss the possibilities.

Golf Package

We're less than a mile from the Sugarbush Resort Robert Trent Jones, Sr. championship golf course. Mr. Jones is one of history’s great masters of golf course architecture and his legendary talent is apparent in every one of the 18 holes of the Sugarbush Golf Club. Designed with remarkable respect for the natural surroundings, this par-72 course is as beautiful as the game itself. You will experience a golf journey through the hilltops of the Mad River Valley, featuring inspiring views at every tee, making each hole a story unto itself.

We can arrange your tee times and provide discounted green fees including tax and a golf cart.  Rates vary by date so when you book please select the dates of your planned stay to see the price of a round. To take advantage of these rates please book at least two nights and be sure to book a round for each person in your party. The course should be available from May 1st to October 31st.


Mud Season Specials
April is known here as Mud Season.  Well it is indeed muddy, but it is also the season when Vermont transforms from a snow covered landscape to a rainbow of colors as the spring plants emerge and the leaves slowly emerge on the trees. And don't forget that it's great time to come and buy Maple Syrup! It is also a quiet month in the Mad River Valley and a great time to get way from home and relax for a few days. Business Special

Traveling on business? West Hill House offers a mid-week special bed and breakfast rate for single occupancy – Sunday to Thursday nights – in our Bluebonnet Room or Highland Room for $119 per night.

Guests have access to complementary WiFi, a printer and fax as well as free phone calls from the direct dial phone in your room to anywhere in the US and Canada. Call us to book – not available on-line.

Planning a Wedding or Civil Union?
West Hill House may be the perfect spot for your special occasion.

As your guests come up our quiet country lane to West Hill House, they will be surrounded by the beauty and serenity of the Green Mountains. Our nine peaceful acres with beautiful perennial gardens, birch gazebo, meadows and ornamental ponds provide a lovely setting for weddings, civil unions, receptions, rehearsal dinners or Sunday brunches.  All they need is for us to help you add your personal touch; food, flowers, candles, music, friends and family.

We host events up to about 80 guests and, depending on the size of the group and the season, we offer the use of the inn, its canopied deck, our handsome red barn or a rental tent on our upper meadow. Weddings can be catered by one of our recommended caterers and we offer onsite catering for Rehearsal Dinners and "First Morning" Brunches for up to 35 guests.

Pamper yourself at West Hill House any time of year for your honeymoon, special anniversary, or just because! This package includes:

• Six Red Roses awaiting your arrival
• One bottle of Champagne
• Two Champagne flutes you can take home

• Early morning coffee or tea delivered to your room

Planning to Elope?

At West Hill House, we have made something of a specialty of planned elopements. For $200 plus tax, and the cost of your room (two night minimum), we will help you plan an extra special day day where the only people at your wedding are just the two of you. There are numerous locations for the ceremony  be it in winter in front of our big stone fireplace with its winter decorations, or in the gazebo (summer or winter) or in a special location in our beautiful perennial gardens.

We will arrange for a JP to get in touch with you to work with you to personalize your ceremony. We will bake a mini wedding cake to be served with a bottle of champagne or sparkling cider following the ceremony. To commemorate your day we will take digital photos of the event and present you with a CD of your photographs before you leave. Flowers, either a small corsage and boutonniere, or a small table arrangement that you can take with you,  are included in the package. To cap off your special day we will arrange a wedding night restaurant reservation for you (dinner is not included). You can book your elopement online!
